Dubsado’s Recurring Invoice feature is one of its coolest, but one of the questions I see all the time is about how to set up a reminder for a recurring invoice BEFORE the due date. While possible, the way to accomplish this is not at all intuitive, so I thought a how-to blog was due!

There are so many times when you want to give a client the option to book a paid appointment with you RIGHT from the start of the process in Dubsado- you know, like when photographers want to offer Mini Sessions, or when interior designers want to offer Consultations, or consultants/copywriters/web designers want to offer Strategy Sessions, or when mobile bar owners want to offer Cocktail Tastings, or when brand designers (or anyone else) wants to offer VIP Days… I could go on and on! That said, there are a MILLION nuances and things that you need to know in order to use a scheduler effectively for literally any of this, which is why I’ve created this guide to using a paid Dubsado Scheduler. Sometimes you want to manually schedule an appointment with a client, but you still want them to get a confirmation email and reminder emails. Using the scheduler on the client’s behalf is the best way to achieve this.
