Dubsado pricing changed on December 1, 2025, alongside the launch of Dubsado 3.0, and a lot of what you’ll find online still quotes the old numbers. I’ve been a Dubsado Certified Specialist since 2020, and “how much does Dubsado actually cost?” is one of the first questions I get on every discovery call. So here’s the current answer, checked against Dubsado’s own pricing page and help center, plus the best Dubsado discount available right now and what it costs to get your account set up so it actually runs your business.
Dubsado has two plans. Both include unlimited clients and projects. The difference is automation.
| Starter | Premier | |
|---|---|---|
| Annual price | $335/year | $525/year |
| Active lead capture forms | 1 | Unlimited |
| Automated workflows (Flows) | No | Yes |
| Scheduling | No | Yes |
| Public proposals | No | Yes |
| Zapier integration | No | Yes |
| Bookkeeping integration | No | Yes |
| Extra users included | 3 | 3 |
Those are Dubsado’s own published prices. Dubsado’s pricing page lists annual prices and says choosing annual gets you “2 months worth of savings” compared with paying monthly. Plenty of comparison sites are still quoting the 2024 prices, so if a number you saw elsewhere looks low, check its date.

Both Starter and Premier come with the core tools most service businesses need to look professional and get paid:
That list is the reason Starter appeals to people. You can send proposals, contracts, and invoices on Starter, and your client can pay you through a branded portal.
Starter gives you the tools, and Premier adds the automation that runs them for you. On Starter you don’t get Flows (Dubsado 3.0’s name for workflows), scheduling, public proposals, Zapier, or bookkeeping integration, and you’re limited to one active lead capture form.
Here’s how I’d think about it. If you book a handful of clients a year and you’re happy to send every email and form yourself, Starter works. If the whole reason you’re looking at Dubsado is to stop doing that manually, you need Premier. Workflows and schedulers are where Dubsado earns its keep. Without them you’re paying for a nice-looking invoicing tool.
I put almost every client on Premier, and I’d honestly rather you start there. Dubsado’s 21-day free trial is a Premier trial anyway, so you’ll be building on Premier features from day one. If you downgrade to Starter afterward, anything you built with Flows or schedulers won’t run, because Starter doesn’t include them.
Every plan includes three additional users at no charge. After that, Dubsado prices team seats in tiers:
| Additional users | Price |
|---|---|
| Up to 3 | Included |
| 4 to 10 | $25/month |
| 11 to 20 | $45/month |
| 21 to 30 | $60/month |
| 30+ | Contact Dubsado |
If you run more than one business, or one business with two distinct brands, each additional brand is $10 a month. That lets you run a second brand inside the same account instead of paying for a second subscription.
Dubsado announced new subscription pricing with the Dubsado 3.0 launch, effective December 1, 2025. According to that announcement, existing paid plan users were not affected by the increase and keep their current plans and pricing. So if you’ve been on a paid plan since before December 2025, your rate didn’t change. If you’re signing up now, the prices above are what you’ll pay.
That only holds while your subscription stays active. If a pre-December 2025 account lapses or is cancelled and comes back later, it does not keep the old rate. It returns at current pricing. So if you’re on an older rate and thinking about pausing your subscription to save money for a few months, know that you’ll give that rate up.
Dubsado’s free trial is 21 days of full, unlimited access to the Premier plan, and no credit card is required. If you’ve read older posts describing a trial limited to three clients with no time limit, that’s out of date.
Twenty-one days goes fast. My advice: don’t spend it clicking around every settings page. Map your client process first (inquiry to booking to delivery to offboarding), then use the trial to build one complete path from lead capture to signed contract and test it with a fake client. You’ll learn more from one working path than from ten half-built templates.
Dubsado doesn’t list a platform or transaction fee on top of your subscription. What you pay per transaction depends on your payment processor. If you use Dubsado Payments, Dubsado’s help center lists these US rates:
That ACH cap is a big deal for anyone with high-ticket services. A $5,000 invoice paid by ACH costs you $5 in fees. The same invoice paid by card costs you $145.30. Dubsado also connects to Square and PayPal. If you want the full breakdown of how processing fees eat into your margins, I wrote about that in the truth about payment processing fees.
There are four real ways to pay less for Dubsado, and they work best together. Here they are, in the order I’d use them.
Dubsado discount code: XOCAIT
30% off your first payment: your first month if you pay monthly, or your whole first year if you pay annually.
Stacks with Dubsado’s sales.
The 21-day Premier trial costs nothing and needs no card, so there’s no reason to pay before you’ve built and tested something. Dubsado’s sale terms let free trial accounts upgrade with the sale discount too, so starting a trial doesn’t lock you out of a later sale.
Dubsado says annual billing gets you about two months of savings compared with paying monthly. If you know you’re committing to Dubsado, annual is the cheaper way to pay, and it’s also what makes a percentage-off code worth the most.
Anyone with a Dubsado account can share an affiliate code, and Dubsado’s help center says the standard one gives a new customer 20% off their first payment on Starter or Premier. Dubsado Certified Specialists get a boosted code instead. Dubsado’s certification page says a specialist’s code gives new users 30% off their first month or year. Mine is XOCAIT. On monthly billing it takes 30% off your first month. On annual billing it takes 30% off your entire first year, which is why I always recommend annual. (Full disclosure: it’s my specialist referral code, and Dubsado credits my account when you use it.)
Dubsado runs limited-time sales on annual plans. In 2026 that included a birthday sale in February and another sale in September, each offering 40% off the first year of an annual plan, applied automatically at checkout with no code needed. The September terms covered new accounts, free trial accounts upgrading to annual, and monthly accounts switching to annual, and the plan renews at regular annual pricing after year one. Dubsado has also historically run sales around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I can’t tell you when the next sale will be or what it will be, so don’t hold off on starting your trial waiting for one.
You can use my code XOCAIT on top of Dubsado’s sale pricing. Dubsado’s own September 2026 sale terms say one affiliate code stacks with the sale discount, as long as an affiliate code hasn’t already been used on your account, and the two discounts are calculated one after the other. Using that sale as an example, Premier dropped from $525 to $315 for the first year, and XOCAIT on top of that brings it to $220.50.

One catch to know about: because only one affiliate code can be used on an account, use the code you actually want the first time you subscribe.
The subscription is the smaller cost. Most of what you’ll spend, in time or money, goes into building an account that actually runs your client experience, because Dubsado does nothing on its own. Every form, email, scheduler, payment plan, and Flow has to be planned and built around your process.
When people set it up themselves, the time goes into three places: learning the platform, building everything, and then rebuilding it once they realize their process doesn’t work the way they mapped it in their head. That third one is where most DIY setups stall. I broke the full math down in what it costs you to DIY your Dubsado setup.
These are my current Dubsado setup services. Every option starts with your real client journey, mapped before anything gets built.
| Option | Investment | Who builds it | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Done-With-You | $1,997 | You, with my plan, a course, and Slack support | 4 weeks |
| Done in a Week | $3,997+ | I do | One week |
| Done-For-You | $4,497+ | I do | About 4 weeks |
| System Design | $500+ | I design it | Scheduled at kickoff |
To put the cost in context, Mill Pond Estate had a done-for-you setup that automated 92% of their client experience tasks, with a 455% return on investment.
If you’re not sure what you need yet, start with a Systems Blueprint Intensive ($497). It’s one 2-hour working session where we map your client journey and decide exactly what your Dubsado setup needs, whoever ends up building it.
So what does Dubsado really cost in year one? On Premier with annual billing, $525 for the software, or $367.50 with XOCAIT (less if you sign up during a Dubsado sale). Add the setup option that fits how much of your own time you want to spend: $1,997 if you build it yourself with a plan and support, $4,497+ if you want it built and handed back. Compared with what a manual client process costs you in hours, missed follow-ups, and inconsistent client experiences, that’s usually the cheapest version of the decision.
Dubsado is worth paying for when two things are true. You have a repeatable client process, even a messy one, and you’re willing to put it on Premier so the automation can actually run it. If you book a few clients a year and don’t need automation, a cheaper invoicing tool may be enough. If you’re comparing platforms, read my take on Dubsado vs HoneyBook, or what Dubsado is and who it’s for.

Dubsado publishes its prices as annual plans: Starter is $335 a year and Premier is $525 a year. Monthly billing is available, and Dubsado says annual billing saves you about two months compared with paying monthly.
No. There’s a 21-day free trial with full Premier access and no credit card required, but no permanent free plan.
Dubsado doesn’t list a platform fee on top of your subscription. You pay your payment processor’s fees. With Dubsado Payments in the US, that’s 2.9% + $0.30 for US cards and 0.8% for ACH, capped at $5.
Three additional users are included on both plans. Users four through ten cost $25 a month total, with higher tiers after that.
A Dubsado Certified Specialist’s code, because it’s 30% off instead of the standard 20%. Mine is XOCAIT: 30% off your first month on monthly billing, or your whole first year on annual billing. You can use it on top of Dubsado’s sale pricing when a sale is running.
